Garvo Fancy Cockerel Grower pellets - 20kg.

Cockerels have a skeleton that is different from the hens, they have more and broader feathers, and must generally develop more meat than hens. They need much more nutrients to develop all this. Garvo's 723 fancy young cock grower pellets ensures an optimally developed cockerel and can be given from ten to twelve weeks until after the shows. 723 Fancy young cock grower pellets contains extra carotene which will give yellow-legged breeds a beautiful colouring of the legs. But if carotene is not wanted for your breed you can continue to feed them with 702 fancy chick starter minipellets until after the shows.

Garvo White Feather Pellets - 20kg

In a lot of Garvo poultry feeds carotene has been added to achieve a better yolk or leg color. All Garvo poultry feeds contain carotene-rich maize.

This carotene might cause discoloration at white-feathered breeds or other bright feathered birds which have a tendency to turn yellow. Especially for white-feathered poultry Garvo now developed 703 White Feathers pellets - totally free of carotene but it will still give the same shiny feather quality as other Garvo poultry feeds.

We recommend feeding as following: hatching to 3 weeks in combination with 50% 107508 Alfastart chicks. As from 3 weeks until laying: 100% 703 white feathers pellets, from laying onwards add 20% wheat and sea shells. Our advice is to be careful with feeding other carotene rich products like grass or maize to your white birds.

Freeze dried dried mealworms - a healthy treat for your hens.

Chickens go mad for mealworms, they just love them.

They are a good source of protein and very nutritious.  

They are very lightweight so a 100g bag contains a surprising number of mealworms - great for those too squeamish to handle live mealworms!

An essential for all hens - Should be made available to them at all times.

Grit aids their digestion because it acts as the hens 'teeth' in the crop to grind up the food. Oyster Shell will help the hens to form good shells on their eggs and supplies them with a source of calcium.

826 - GARVO FANCY POULTRY PRIDE - 20KG

Fancy birds are gallinaceous birds like pheasants (including tragopans), quail, partridges, peacocks, francolins, grouse, guinea fowl and turkeys.

Garvo developed a special granule for these fancy birds, called the 826 fancy poultry pride. You can feed this granule to show and parent birds and their chicks all year round. This means that you need not switch to other feeds for chicks or in breeding time. For the young chicks we recommend the addition of animal protein (mealworms).

Great product to prevent boredom.  These 250g treat blocks hang up in your hens run and give them hours of entertainment.
