OMLET EGLU 'GO' HEN HOUSE

Having used the Omlet range of housing for many years, we are now pleased to have the new Omlet Eglu 'Go' in stock.  The standard Go will house up to 3 hens and with the extra run fitted will take 4 hens.  It comes as a complete package - just set it up, fill the provided water and feed containers and pop your hens in.

  We have a Go set up for you to come and have a look at, and have green Go's, and separate run extensions in stock for you to take away.  If you require one in yellow or red please allow 3/4 working days.

The Go is so easy to use - some of the many benefits:

* Double walled construction for excellent insulation - keeps your hens cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

* Plastic roosting bars, with pull out tray below for easy access to the eggs and for cleaning out.

* The run is made from strong steel weld mesh impossible for predators to break. A unique anti-tunnel skirt sits flat on the ground and prevents animals from digging in. The run door can be fitted on either side of the run or on the end - perfect if you have a small space or difficult area.

* Feeder and drinker included.

* Well ventilated but draught free for your hens health and comfort.

* Simple to spot and treat red mite - all surfaces are accessible for red mite treatment.

* Standard Omlet 'Go' and run including feeder and drinker - £330

* 1m run extension - £79

If you are located within a 20 mile radius of WR13 we can deliver and set up your  Go, bring a complete starter kit including the hens (if required) and give you a 'hen keeping' guidance.  Please contact us for cost and details.

Please see the Omlet Housing page for more information.

MOBILE 'SHEPHERDS HUT' FOR CHICKENS

Having had great success with our 'human' size Shepherds Hut's over the years, we thought we'd give the chickens their own huts!  Totally mobile, unique chicken house.  These mini 'shepherds huts' are beautifully handcrafted from redwood pine tongue & groove with a traditional (but red mite unfriendly) corrugated steel roof.    The steps and window are solid oak. As each house is made to order by ourselves, in our own workshops in Malvern, we can incorporate any features you require.

They can be also be made fully insulated in various sizes for use as childrens' playhouses, offices, extra bedrooms etc.

Please contact us for further details.

TRADITIONAL WOODEN HOUSING

We can supply all your poultry housing made to the highest standards in our own workshops.  We have two standard designs of housing available in various sizes.  Alternatively we can offer a fully bespoke service and can make housing to your exact specification and design.  Our houses may cost a little more than some others but if properly cared for we would expect them to still be in use and working correctly in 20 years.

 As both breeders of poultry and Joiners we know what is needed for a poultry house to be both practical and functional.  We have thought through all aspects of using our housing and tried to overcome all the irritations experienced with poorly designed housing, the housing has then been rigorously tested on our own flock!

DESIGN 1

 Beautifully designed house incorporating all the features to make caring for your hens easy and enjoyable - available with or without a run.

The smallest house is designed for up to 8 Hybrid/medium size birds, but please be aware it is just as suitable for only 3 birds.

(cat not included)

FEATURES

 * Can be very easily dismantled for easy cleaning.

* Drop down Pop hole with grips on the ramp.

* High nestboxes for easy egg collecting - no bending down.

* Onduline roof - Good insulation, far superior to felt which is an ideal hiding place for red mite.

* As all houses are handmade to order, we can add or remove any features you require.

Both sides simply unbolt and can be removed or laid flat for easy access to the interior.  The floor can be totally removed for cleaning.  The nestbox roof is removable and back of the nestbox is hinged for ease of access to collect the eggs and to clean out.

 Nestboxes are positioned at waist height to prevent bending down to collect the eggs.

 Perches have smooth rounded edges (ideal for the birds feet) and lift out of the house for cleaning.

  The Onduline roof provides excellent ventilation to prevent respiratory problems, and unlike felt does not provide a hiding area for red mite.

Optional legs are available to raise the house up off the ground to the desired height.

Our houses may cost slightly more than the flat pack houses but please come and see them and compare the quality.  When you are using these houses daily year round in all weather, we can assure you it is essential you have a solid, well constructed house, that works and continues to work for many years.
