BLACK JERSEY GIANTS
I have 4 black Jersey Giant hens. These are last years hatch and 3 have just come into lay for the first time, the fourth is still a little way off lay. £40 each.
GENUINE COTSWOLD LEGBARS Developed 20 years ago in the Cotswolds these hens will lay lovely pastel coloured eggs. They lay eggs in shades of blue, olive to pale pink. The eggs all have a superior hard shell, a dense texture, with a large yolk and superb flavour. The birds themselves come in a range of colours but all have a distinctive 'topknot'. They are a slightly larger hen and can be flighty so are best kept either free range or in an area with very high fences! Our Cotswold Legbars come direct from the founder breeder, Legbars of Broadway. At 12 weeks the hens are £33 rising weekly to £36 from 16 weeks onwards. LIMITED NUMBER AVAILABLE AT 22 WEEKS OLD
BURFORD BROWNS
We have genuine Burford Browns from Legbars of Broadway. These hens will lay superb quality, heavy brown eggs with thick shells - they really are the 'Rolls Royce' of layers! The hens themselves are very attractive and are a glossy black with a beetle green sheen and various amounts of copper accents. They are bred to be tough and resilient. They make great pets, are usually docile and calm and enjoy human company. At 12 weeks the hens are £33 rising weekly to £36 from 16 weeks onwards. SOLD OUT - MORE AVAILABLE IN APRIL 2012.

We usually have point of lay female Japanese and Italian Quail for sale (males can be ordered). Quail can be housed in a large rabbit type cage and are very good layers as well as making entertaining little pets. £8.50 each - ONLY 4 LEFT - These will be the last we have until the summer. DUCKS
